About
The story behind the app.
Why this app exists
I'm a sticker collector since I was a kid — I grew up filling albums for the 1998, 2002, 2006 mundials. In 2026, the expectation is the biggest album ever: 980 stickers representing 48 teams across 3 host countries.
The boring part of the hobby has always been the same: tracking what you have, what's missing, and arranging trades with friends. List on paper, Excel sheet, photo of the page on WhatsApp — always disorganized and dated.
Troca Figurinhas is the 2026 version of that notebook: fast, visual, with peer-to-peer trading via QR Code, and 100% offline. No signup, no login, no cloud. Open the app, register your pack, trade with a friend by pointing the camera at their QR Code. Done.
Philosophy: privacy first
I don't need to know who you are to help you organize your stickers. That's why the app was built to:
- Not require signup — you don't create an account or type an email
- Have no server — there's no "Troca Figurinhas Cloud" because there's no need
- Not track — no analytics, no cookies, no ads
- Work offline — all features (registering, album, trading) run without internet
- Be paid only once — Premium is R$ 9.90 lifetime, no subscription
Who built it
The app is developed by me, Caio Oliveira, a software engineer. CAIO IA INFORMATICA LTDA is the company that operates the service.
This is not a product from a big company. It's a personal product made carefully, for a specific audience (collectors) and a specific moment (Mundial 2026). All feedback is read by the developer.
Project sustainability
The app offers a free version with 5 trades per unique partner (enough to experience the full flow) and an optional one-time purchase of R$ 9.90 unlocking unlimited trades.
This pays for: landing page server, Apple Developer costs ($99/year), Google Play Console (one-time fee) and maintenance time. No subscription, no ads, no data selling.
Roadmap
Some features planned for future versions (no deadlines, no promises):
- Backup/import via JSON (alternative to PDF)
- Tablet/iPad-optimized version
- Localization in more languages beyond PT-BR and EN
